The Just Recruitment Group are currently recruiting for an Accounts Assistant for their client, a leading UK Housebuilder with over 30 offices across the country.
- Entering Subcontractor payment applications with weekly payment runs and monthly CIS Return.
- Liaising with Surveyors
- Entering Purchase invoices, checking against POD’s and Orders and approve ready for the monthly payment run.
- Statement Reconciliations.
- Liaising with buying team and suppliers with queries
- Entering payments and receipts to Cashbook from Streamline, Bank Statement and Banking
- Daily Bank Reconciliation.
- Weekly expenses cheques paid via Cashbook and Chaps payments
- Service Charge payments to Management Companies
- Weekly Cash Reports
- Raising Sales Ledger invoices
- House Sales Journals
- Scanning copies of invoices onto Customer Accounts
- Opening New Accounts and obtaining HMRC Verification for Subcontractors, making sure insurances are up to date.
- Management of Council Tax and Utility Bills, getting appropriate authorisation from Department heads and making payments within terms
- Ideally have some experience but training will be given
