The Just Recruitment Group are currently recruiting for a Buying Assistant for our client, a leading, high-end online retailer based in the Essex area.
Working within a busy, team-orientated environment and reporting into the Senior Buyer, our client is looking for the successful candidate to be responsible for creating and managing new products/ brands into the business. You will also be providing overall support to the Assistant, Junior and Buyer to ensure the smooth running of the department.
Some duties will include:
* New Orders –
- Confirm selection with supplier
- Send out company information & new supplier forms
- Create products on the system
* Wallpaper –
- Place/ set/ chase in orders
- Book in stock if direct dispatch
* General -
- Manage product updates – naming, pack sizes etc.
- Manage restrictions spreadsheet and update team when necessary
You will have:
* Excellent attention to detail
* Ideally a relevant degree/qualifications highly desirable however not essential
* Good communication skills
* Good time management/ability to prioritise without supervision
* Ability to use own initiative
* Good command of Excel/Word/PowerPoint
