Our client is offering an exciting opportunity to lead and direct the UK Fleet Risk Control Service of the world’s largest casualty claims handler. The organisation is committed to reducing their clients total cost of risk through the provision of a first class claims management service that works hand-in-hand with their risk control team to identify key areas of risk exposure and deliver practical solutions to reduce risk and provide demonstrable cost savings.
They seek an individual able to take over the leadership of the fleet risk control service of their overall risk control division. An individual with a proven track record of success, who can also demonstrate they have the drive and skills required to diversify the product and grow the service into new markets.
You will be a highly experienced and qualified risk control consultant or manager, with a track record of managing people and directing projects to deliver service excellence. Your client management skills will be highly tuned, with an ability to face into problems and resolve issues.
You will be an excellent communicator, able to write well and present with confidence at training events and conferences. Marketing and selling the services of your team will come naturally to you.
An in-depth understanding of the risk management challenges faced by the public sector is essential. A current knowledge of the wider commercial and insurance risk management services market will be a distinct advantage.
You will be professionally educated in the field of fleet risk management or similar and most likely hold qualifications or commensurate experience in health and safety or risk management.
