The Just Recruitment Group are currently recruiting for an Import Operations Clerk based in the Felixstowe area.
The ideal candidate will have experience of the shipping industry.
- Deliver excellent customer communication at all times to ensure we are delivering the best service.
- Process quotes and supplier rate negotiations.
- Maintain database
- Identify and report development opportunities.
- Manage credit limits and ensure Duty & VAT payments received prior to delivery.
- Arrange bookings and manage supply chain with key overseas offices, partners and suppliers for nominated clients.
- Deliver an expert service for all Government Departments including but not limited to Port Health, Licencing and Quotas.
- Manage custom holds.
- Be responsible to ensure Customs release.
- Participate in daily team catch-up.
- Put forward new ideas to Branch and Team Manager at any time.
- Attend team meetings as required.
- Attend quarterly office meetings.
- Attend meetings with clients, partners and suppliers as required.
- Work in accordance with the company values.
Hours 9am -5pm
1 hour lunch
Salary depending on experience
