Just Recruitment are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established, leading supplier of high-quality construction products within the UK. 

Our client is seeking an experienced highly motivated team leader to lead our precast concrete casting team. Previous experience in concrete batching, casting and finishing is essential. In house training, PPE and tools will all be provided. The work can be physically demanding, and you will need to be fit, hardworking, reliable and able to organise and lead a small team of casters.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead and organise the precast concrete team of operatives.
  • Manage workload / day-to-day running of the team and operations.
  • Ensure production targets are met each day.
  • Maintain a high standard of concrete finishing.
  • Organise and contribute to the cleaning and maintenance of the mixer plant.
  • Provide assistance to the shuttering carpenters with mould making when required.

Key Skills:

  • Good management skills.
  • Flexible with working hours as occasional weekend work may be required.
  • Experience within a precast/concrete environment would be an advantage.
  • Quality control.
  • Overhead gantry crane and counterbalance would be an advantage.
  • Physically fit.
  • Training will be given on the job so you must be keen to learn.
  • Driving licence is a must.

Hours are 8am-5pm but may vary according to production demand.
