Are you an experienced office manager with accounts experience looking for a new role in the Colchester area? 

Are you happy to speak to and communicate with customers? 

I am delighted to be recruiting for a well-regarded organisation based in Colchester - they are looking to recruit an office manager with accounts experience to join their long standing team. 

The office administration manager will assist the current team in its main office, you will need to be highly organised, reliable and have a good attention to detail.

A proven track record in office administration, accounts and sales support roles is required. The candidate will need to be able to prioritise, organise and complete their own workload. 

Key candidate requirements: 

  • Highly organised, reliable and with attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritise and complete own workload.
  • Accounts administration competence
  • Sage 50 accounts experience required.
  • Sales admin support experience.
  • Good telephone manner and customer relations skills
  • IT literate – predominantly Sage 50 accounts, Microsoft Outlook e-mail, Excel and Word.
  • Experience of shipping / logistics would be highly beneficial. 

The role includes but is not limited too: 

  • Customer liaison via telephone and email for sales, service and warranty interaction.
  • General Accounts support – including sales and purchase ledger on Sage 50 and day to day order processing
  • Administration support for sales staff, keeping job packs up to date and stakeholders informed
  • Handling sub contracted logistics administration for large orders
  • General office administration duties, file keeping, office supplies etc. 

Office hours 9:00 – 5:00pm Monday to Friday 20 days holiday + Christmas break + statutory Free parking is available on site and you will need your own transport due to the companies location.
