Just Recruitment is supporting a well-regarded manufacturing business in Haverhill - looking to add a Warehouse/Dispatch Operative to its growing team.
The key purpose of the role is to support the business with all warehouse, dispatch and manufacturing tasks - according to company targets.
Key duties include:
- Be responsible for blends/decanting/packing finished products
- Ensuring products are packed to the correct requirements, labelled correctly and clearly.
- Ensure areas within your responsibility are kept in order with regards to health and Safety and 5 ‘s’
- Fulfil warehouse duties including material movement, kitting assemblies, booking in and out raw materials and products. Regular racking checks and fork truck checks when required. Conduct stock checks and report when needed.
- Conduct internal safety audits when instructed and report accidents. Near misses and incidents when required.
- Be flexible in your approach to other responsibilities when required.
Requirements include:
- Worked under health & safety and environment procedures.
- Working experience in a warehouse environment.
- Understanding of the supply chain.
- Counterbalance and reach truck licence.
Working hours for this role are from Monday to Thursday, 8am to 5pm and Friday, 8am to 4pm.
