Operations Warehouse Supervisor

Just Recruitment is pleased to be recruiting for a Warehouse Supervisor who is looking for a varied and challenging role for one of our clients based in Sudbury, Suffolk.

Reporting to the Logistics Management Team you will supervise the daily activities and deliverables of the Warehouse Team to ensure all objectives are met in a timely manner, whilst upholding the standards of the business, maximising productivity and ensuring service of the highest level.

Daily duties

  • Supervise daily workload for all warehouse processes
  • The organisation of the warehouse team (job allocation)
  • Ensure that all work orders are double checked before leaving the site
  • Supervise and monitor warehouse yard
  • Quality Control for all warehouse processes
  • Recording, reviewing, and reporting all non-conformance issues
  • Supervise and monitor all warehouse processes
  • Reporting material stock issues (both goods inwards and picking issues)
  • Warehouse stock checking and reporting
  • Control the ordering of consumable warehouse materials
  • Continuous warehouse process improvement and reviewing

Key Skills / Attributes / Work Experience

  • Experience in leading a team in a warehousing environment
  • Strong management and communication skills
  • A team player with a positive attitude towards work and staff engagement
  • Knowledge and experience of health and safety
  • Proactive with an eye for detail
  • Flexible and adaptable approach

Paying up to 29k per annum depending on experience.

This is a Temporary to Permanent role, however, there is also an opportunity to be made permanent straight away.

Monday – Wednesday 9.00 am – 5.30 pm
Thursday and Friday 6.00 am – 2.00 pm
