Just Recruitment is recruiting for an Order Processing & Dispatch Administrator on behalf of a company based in the Maldon area.

The primary objectives for this role are to ensure the timely and accurate input of orders received from their customers, progressing through dispatch and following up with carriers to confirm satisfactory delivery.

This will mean liaising with other departments and ensuring that any relevant information is entered onto internal systems, as per company guidelines. The role will also encompass booking carriers as needed, and invoicing completed dispatches.

Duties include:

  • Manage incoming sales orders, check for errors and process the company's systems
  • Be the first contact for incoming calls, providing information to customers as needed in a timely manner, and forwarding to relevant colleagues as appropriate
  • Resolve queries relating to orders, liaise with customers, providers and colleagues
  • Book carriers as needed, following up to ensure satisfactory deliveries
  • Prepare and send invoices related to orders
  • Assist with other office administration requested by company management

Required skills:

  • A confident self-starter, possessing drive, motivation and acute attention to detail
  • Excellent spoken and written English language skills
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Ability to work alone or as part of a team
  • Previous experience working with Sage 50 / Sage CRM or similar systems not necessary, but an advantage

Benefits: 20 days holiday per year, plus bank holidays.
Hours: Full-time. 9am – 5pm, Monday to Friday.
