You will come from a manufacturing or production background - used to handling large, heavy products, although if you have no experience and a great attitude you will be considered.

Hours: Monday to Friday on a shift basis (6.00am to 2.30pm and 1.30pm to 10.00pm) - overtime is available as per business needs.

• Confidence to challenge working practices and help improve assembly standards.
• Product safety and compliance testing.

• Perform operations such as wire prep and crimping.
• Optimise processes to improve efficiency, quality, and safety.
• Work with the assembly coordinator and production team to ensure work is driven through on time and to the highest quality standard.
• Confident in delivering to a production schedule.

Role requirements:

• Experienced background with electrical components and assembly.
• Confidence to put your name to checking procedures to ensure the highest standard of quality is always achieved.
• Ability to read engineering drawings.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams - this will extend to management.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

An electrical or electrical assembly qualification would be desirable but is not a necessity.

To be considered for this exciting role you must be able to demonstrate a background working in a field service or technical support role, gained within a capital equipment environment. You should be qualified to a minimum of HNC level or above in electrical installation/engineering/maintenance or another relevant technical discipline.

An electrician with an electrical test and inspection background would also be considered.
