Just Recruitment is supporting a growing and expanding organisation based in Ipswich, looking to add a Sales Order Processing Manager to its long-standing team.

For this role, you will need to be confident, with prior supervisory/team leader experience, personable and diplomatic with a dedicated and enthusiastic manner. The ability to problem-solve and seek solutions is essential, as is the ability to be forward-thinking in how to manage and control the workload with varying demands.

You will be reporting to the Sales Order Processing Manager, providing valuable support to meet the needs of the business, overseeing the teams’ operations, and assisting co-ordinators in their individual and team performance and development through training, guidance, support and feedback.

Duties include:

  • Taking accountability for the team and its output - managing day-to-day workload within agreed KPI’s in line with growing business demands.
  • Supervising a team of coordinators, ensuring high customer service standards and company procedures are being met.
  • Providing structured training and guidance to proactively encourage individual and team development to ensure succession planning.
  • Actively working with other supervisors and management to ensure a consistent approach within the department.
  • Providing an empathetic and emotionally intelligent approach to demonstrate a positive, nurturing and encouraging supervisory style.

Key skills/qualifications/criteria:

  • Sound customer services and administrative experience.
  • Experienced order processor with excellent organisational abilities.
  • Ability to prioritise workload effectively to meet KPI’s.
  • Ability to work within a fast-paced environment to meet deadlines.
  • Proactive approach with a “can do” attitude and ability to motivate others.
  • Proven problem-solving ability.
