Just Recruitment is working with a growing logistics business, with multiple sites across East Anglia - looking to add a Warehouse Operative (days), to its existing and long-standing team.

The key purpose of this role is to carry out basic warehouse tasks as required by the Line Manager/Supervisor responsible for the contract and customers.

Key duties include:

Operate equipment safely and effectively according to requirements.
Unloading goods in.
Checking in goods.
Putting away products, keeping the warehouse tidy.
Picking products as per customer orders.
Checking orders, ensuring accuracy.
Packing orders to ensure safety in delivery.
Loading deliveries.
Undertaking any other duties as may be required.

Qualifications and skills required:

Good level of numeracy and literacy.
Basic PC skills.
Knowledge of company health and safety policy.
Housekeeping awareness.
Physically active.

Working hours are from 6.00 am to 2.30 pm, Monday to Friday.

Free parking is available on site.

Lots of development and further training available.

Due to company location, you must have access to your own transport.

About the role

Just Temps is seeking a Logistics Coordinator for a prestigious company that is expanding - based in Stowmarket.

This is a temp-to-perm opportunity role.

Working hours: Monday to Friday, 09.00 to 17.00.

This role will include the following duties:

Coordinate daily shipments of finished goods from site to warehouse.
Resolves delivery issues with customers and/or carriers.
Completes records and reports as required.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Maintain external contacts with shipping lines, forwarding agents, customs authorities, transport companies, Chamber of Commerce as far as physical inventory checks are concerned.

Education and experience required:

Three years experience in (planning in) a production environment and/or experience in shipping administration.
Knowledge of the use of SAP computer systems for logistics.
NVQ level 2 or equivalent. Alternative relative experience.
