Weekend Production / Warehouse Operatives

Just Recruitment is recruiting for a Production Operator to join a leading manufacturing company located in Hadleigh, near Ipswich.

This is a temporary ongoing role.

Duties and responsibilities will include:

• Manually feeding the production line 
• Manually pack items into boxes and stack them onto pallets.
• Help the Machine Operators during changeovers.
• Ensuring you comply with all standards, procedures, and practices.

Required experience and behaviours:

• Previous experience as a production line operator would be an advantage.
• Team player with a ‘business first, me second attitude’.
• Minimum basic level of literacy and numeracy.

This is an immediate start role.

For this role, you must be fit and active as the role involves heavy lifting and manual handling.

Hours:
Monday to Friday, 9am till 5pm.

This well-established company will put you through a PPT course for you to gain a qualification whilst working on-site, along with other FLT licenses depending on the area of work.

Working Monday to Friday with one in every 6 weekends (weekends are only required to work 6am-2:30pm)

6am - 2:30pm and 2pm - 10:30pm rotating every 2 weeks. (2 weeks early, 2 weeks lates)

There is the opportunity to work overtime at overtime rates.

This role will include:

• General warehouse duties
• Lifting and shifting
• Container unloading
• Loading trucks and unloading with a PPT
• Pallet checking
• Quality checking pallets
• Sweeping
• General cleanliness around the warehouse

Just Recruitment is looking for an individual with experience in compliance or audits, with an interest in engineering, to join a company’s team on a temporary basis to help set up, and support a project based in the East of England that must be completed prior to 31st March 2022.

The role will include asset monitoring, preparation and application of RFID tags. Updating the app and recording detailed information. Full training will be given, but it is essential to ensure you are right the first time with accurate data collection.

• Previous experience in a compliance/audit background or engineering knowledge
