About the role:
As a Production Supervisor, you’ll play a key role in supporting daily manufacturing operations, working closely with the Production Manager to ensure targets are met and processes run smoothly. This is a rotational double day shift role (6am–2pm / 2pm–10pm), and you’ll need to be flexible to support business demands, including occasional overtime.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supervise daily production and packing operations
- Ensure machinery is operated safely and maintained properly
- Lead and motivate a small team, delegating tasks and managing performance
- Maintain stock levels of raw materials and packaging, ensuring correct rotation
- Achieve productivity targets and KPIs
- Promote best practices, continuous improvement, and excellent housekeeping
- Ensure compliance with health & safety and operational standards
- Support the training and development of team members
What we're looking for:
- Previous experience in a production/warehouse supervisory role (essential)
- Strong leadership and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and organisation skills
- Confident using basic computer systems and completing shift reports
- Ability to remain calm and productive under pressure
Desirable (but not essential):
- Experience in manufacturing
- Counterbalance Forklift licence (or willingness to train)

The key purpose of this role is to handle goods within the warehouse, ensuring they are received, stored, and dispatched efficiently.
Key duties include:
- Unloading goods from delivery vehicles, verifying delivery documents, and checking for discrepancies in quantities or damages.
- Store products in designated areas, ensuring they are properly labelled, scanned and stored in an organised manner.
- Perform inventory controls using scanners or computer systems to maintain accurate stock levels.
- Accurately pick cartons according to customer orders, pack them securely for delivery, and load them onto delivery vehicles.
- Use warehouse equipment to move goods safely and efficiently.
- Work as part of a team to complete tasks and ensure the smooth operation of warehouse activities.
Key requirements for the role include:
- Previous warehouse experience preferred.
- Manual handling, including lifting, bending, and stretching, so a good level of fitness is important.
- Accuracy in picking and packing orders is crucial to avoid errors in deliveries.

- Familiarity with inventory management systems and basic computer skills is beneficial.

Duties include:
- Carrying out daily vehicle checks as required using correct documentation in accordance with the company’s policy and processes.
- Informing Directors of any defects as soon as possible.
- Establishing, developing and maintaining positive customer relationships.
- Ensuring compliance with relevant Road Transport Legislation using analogue and digital tachograph equipment and relevant company reporting procedures.
- Ensure timesheets are completed accurately, including all relevant details such as breaks, driving hours, and duty times, in full compliance with driver hours regulations.
Driving duties will require overnight stays away from home due to long-distance driving (i.e. Scotland). There is recompense for these overnight stays, which is paid per company policy
Role requirements include:
- Driving experience, including:- Full UK Driving licence (inc. 7.5 tonne vehicles).
- Must be Driver Certificate of Professional Competence qualified (Driver CPC qualification for professional lorry drivers).
- Demonstrable flexible, adaptable and positive approach to prioritising tasks and working under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
