You will be responsible for providing a high level of customer service to regular customers and internal customers such as production, accounts, transport and the sales team. Work to key KPI’s to ensure the highest levels of customer service are maintained and improved upon.
Duties include:
- Vet customer orders ready for processing onto the system. This includes applying the correct delivery dates to suit the customer's requirements whilst ensuring it fits in with the production dates, capabilities and delivery areas.
- Answering the telephone within 3 rings and having an enthusiastic attitude to deal with and resolve customers' queries or issues in a timely manner.
- Proactively chase customers to resolve queries if they have not come back with a response. Ensure all verbal correspondence is confirmed in writing and the system is updated with correct information.
- Support the end-of-month invoicing procedure, investigate and find any missing delivery notes.
- Routinely speak to key accounts and regular customers to grow a productive working relationship with them.

Duties include:
- Being the technical lead for a multitude of various technologies, machines, and value streams to assist Process Primes in the development and improvement of processes within the production environment.
- Project manage capital equipment projects from justification through to implementation.
- Managing tooling, fixture design and manufacture to support production needs.
- Lead Process Capability, Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement activities within the Manufacturing environment.
- Carry out measurement systems analysis, using type 1 and type 2 studies on gauging and measurement systems to improve gauge R&R.
- Be an integral part of a design team, helping to brainstorm ideas and help facilitate actions by carrying out CAD modelling, concept refinement and procurement activities.
Skills required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing or project engineering role (preferably in a related industry, e.g. automotive).
- Strong understanding of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and process optimisation techniques.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g. SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and project management tools (e.g. MS Project).

- Conversant with Lean Manufacturing / Continuous Improvement techniques.
- CAD/CAM experience, ideally in SolidWorks.

The key purpose of this role is to manage the stock administration throughout the business, from start to finish.
Key duties include:
- Stock management
- Overseeing the regular stock counts and reconciling differences
- Processing stock adjustments in the system
- Processing of stock transfers between sites
- Monitoring levels of stock, raising quotes, and placing orders as required
- Assisting with the year-end stock count
- Ad-hoc queries
- Reviewing of invoices—ensuring profitability of all jobs and flagging jobs that fall outside of expected profit ranges
- General administration related to raising credit notes, creating new stock codes and moving costs between jobs
- Reconciling and transferring time between two internal systems
- Running monthly reports
