Everything you need to know about “Happy Christmas Ipswich". An evening with Griff Rhys Jones & Friends in aid of EACH.

Just Recruitment Group Ltd has been announced as headline sponsor for a comedy gala evening in aid of East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices. Here’s the inside story

On Tuesday, 3 December 2019, comedian, writer, actor and TV presenter Griff Rhys Jones will host a special gala evening sponsored by Just Recruitment Group Ltd in aid of East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices (EACH).

Events like this provide a valuable lifeline to the charity, raising money and profile to support its work.

The event will see Griff joined by some of his showbiz friends, with people like Al Murray, Radio Active, Jess Robinson, Clive Anderson and Lee Mack being lined up to perform.

The one-off show is being held at the Regent Theatre in Ipswich. As well as attracting a top line-up of onstage talent, many of EACH’s high-profile supporters are expected in the audience.

Just Recruitment decided to support the event so that every penny raised on the night goes directly to funding EACH’s vital services.

“Many people don’t know that hospices like EACH receive very little funding from statutory services,” said Peter Foy, a director of Just Recruitment Group and a supporter of EACH. “Events like this provide a valuable lifeline to the charity, raising money and profile to support its work.

“As anyone who has had any involvement with EACH knows, it’s a hugely worthwhile cause that brings care, compassion and hope to young people and their families in the midst of life-limiting illness.”

Griff Rhys Jones has been a long-time supporter of EACH. He is using his extensive contacts book to attract some top celebrities to Ipswich for the event.

In addition to stand-up and anecdotes, Griff is expected to chat about his recent Australian tour as well as sharing his local knowledge of Essex and Suffolk and enjoying some Christmas-themed reminiscences.

“We’re hugely excited to support Happy Christmas Ipswich,” said Just Recruitment’s founder, Jenny Wrightson. “I’m a big fan of him and his work, and believe passionately in the value of EACH’s work in the region.”

Keep an eye on the Just Recruitment website for updates and themed content around this landmark event. We can’t wait to begin the countdown!
