Compliance Coordinator

About the role

Just Recruitment has an exciting opportunity for a Quality Manager with experience in compliance to join a company based in Tiverton, Devon to be part of its Quality Team.

Ideally, you will need to be Degree-qualified in a related field or have 4 years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Track and maintain the company’s compliance towards external regulations and requirements, including but not limited to: Russian Steel sanctions, Reach, ROHS, and conflict materials.
  • Investigate, analyse, inspect and resolve quality problems by conducting audits, analysing defect trends, and leading continuous improvement projects
  • Report to senior management with potential risks and ongoing compliance regulatory status.
  • Review international regulations for new or updated requirements.
  • Communicate any changes to internal and external suppliers and lead activities towards full compliance.
  • Lead problem-solving teams through root cause identification, corrective and preventative actions and complete actions as required.
  • Champion the requirement of retention of ISO9001:2015 certification.
  • Resolve quality-related issues via the 5Y and 8D process.
  • Report via analysis to Senior Management on quality processes and improvements.
  • Conduct internal audits defined by the internal audit schedule.

Required skills include:

  • Understanding of international regulatory requirements for Project Management.
  • Auditing.
  • Product and quality compliance auditing.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Advanced computer skills using Microsoft Office applications strong problem-solving and organisation skills.
  • Knowledge of various quality system methodologies 8D, Lean, 5 Why, Pareto Analysis, Six Sigma, DFMEA, PFMEA, PPAP, etc.
  • Ability to work well with diverse groups of people and be able to function independently of direct supervision.
  • Able to prepare training materials and train others.

You must have a valid driver's licence in good standing and the ability for European travel.

Working hours:

  • Monday to Thursday, 07.00 to 16.00.
  • Friday, 07.00 to 12.00.

Engineering Process Project Engineer

Just Recruitment is working with a growing manufacturing organisation, based on the outskirts of Sudbury – actively seeking an Engineering Process Project Engineer to join its highly skilled and well-regarded engineering department.

The key purpose of this varied role is to assist with Project Managing, process investigations and hands-on work.

Key duties include:

  • Managing projects and improvements.
  • Being part of a team developing the site from both a production and site services point of view.
  • Work alongside production process Engineers in identifying and implementing process improvements on existing and new production equipment and lines.
  • Be part of the Engineering department, understanding, identifying, and implementing site services equipment and improvements.
  • Carry out investigations into production and site services issues and concerns.
  • Be involved in factory and process line layouts.
  • Creating/updating Standard Operating Procedures for engineering tasks as well as for production tasks.

Role requirements:

  • Hands-on Mechanical, and or Electrical Engineer.
  • Experience in AutoCAD or similar engineering drawing packages.
  • PLC & SCADA experience would be beneficial.
  • Must be computer literate and able to use Microsoft Office and in particular, have good experience in the use of Excel.
  • Must be honest reliable and a self-starter - able to work alone or as part of a team.

Ideally, you will be a team player as well as be self-motivated. Key attributes will include being able to pay particular attention to detail and able to carry out your duties to a high standard with confidence, honesty, and passion.

About the role

Just Recruitment is seeking a Process & Maintenance Technician for a global manufacturer at their site in Sudbury, Suffolk.

Hours of work: Mon & Tues 8.00am to 4.30pm, Weds & Thurs 8.00am to 5.00pm, Fri 8.00am to 2.30pm.

Reporting to the Maintenance & Site Services Coordinator, you will provide a knowledgeable, practical mechanical and electrical service in order to assist in the maintenance of all the manufacturing plant, buildings/infrastructure, and site services in a safe and cost-effective manner. You will also assist in process monitoring of critical plants, to improve equipment and process reliability through effective prediction and then avoidance of equipment failures.

Qualifications, skills, knowledge & experience required:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in mechanical/electrical engineering.
  • Minimum ONC/Level 3 NVQ in engineering.
  • Strong electrical knowledge/fault-finding skills; qualification desirable.
  • Experience in repairing and maintaining motors, instruments, pumps, valves, gearboxes and filling lines etc.
  • Experience and understanding of PLC’s (Programmable Logic Controllers), including designing, implementing, testing, documenting, and fault finding.
  • Broad knowledge of pneumatic, air logic and hydraulic systems.
  • Ability to read, interpret and understand technical documents and drawings.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience of working in manufacturing environments.
  • Experience of working in Zoned Areas, and knowledge of ATEX Equipment preferable.
  • IOSH trained in Working Safely preferable, mobile boom, and scissor lift trained preferable.
  • Knowledge of working with Permit to Work, and Safe Systems of Work.
  • Sound analysis and decision-making skills with a flexible attitude and ability to communicate effectively.
