Working within a busy, fast-paced team-orientated customer focused Sales Department - the emphasis of the role will be to process sales and purchase orders and liaise with transport companies and customers to organise and schedule deliveries to tight deadlines.

The ability to problem-solve and seek solutions is essential as is the ability to control workload with varying demands, whilst applying attention to detail with a diplomatic and pro-active approach. As an individual, you will possess previous experience within a similar role.

Duties include:

  • Sales and purchase order processing
  • Preparing quotations
  • Invoicing
  • Processing sales and purchase orders
  • Extensive customer focused telephone liaison
  • Warehouse and haulage contractors to organise deliveries
  • Ability to adapt an approach to a diverse range of contacts; contractors, suppliers and internal personnel

Hours:

Monday to Friday, (09.00 to 17.00) with a 1 hour 15 min lunch break.

You will have previous sales order processing experience and strength of character for what can be a fast-paced environment.

IT Support Tech (2nd Line Support)

Just Recruitment is recruiting for an IT Support Tech (2nd Line Support) to join a company based in Ipswich.

Reporting to the Service Delivery Manager, the primary duties of the post will be to provide fundamental second line IT support, ensuring the progression and swift resolution of calls logged with the IT Service Desk and delivery of superior services in line with Service Level Agreements.

Throughout the IT service desk process, the postholder will be the single point of contact with the end-user, maintaining ownership of the original fault, providing timely updates, ensuring the identified fault is assigned the correct level of priority and attention. The IT Service Desk comprises a team of engineers covering all support tiers and abilities, from 1st line apprentice engineers to 3rd line engineers. We also work closely with a consultancy resource team that focuses on new project delivery.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Deliver a second line support function, handling escalated calls and cases from the first-line Service Desk or the Service Delivery Manager
  • Administer and maintain system infrastructure, including Active Directory, Azure AD, LAN, Internet access, firewalls, and Exchange/Office 365
  • Complete proactive works, including but not limited to Windows and desktop application patching, network device firmware updates, system security management, the creation and maintaining of system documentation
  • Respond to any escalated server and network performance monitoring alerts, taking any necessary actions to resolve

Key skills/qualifications/criteria:

  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server 2016/2019
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Exchange Server and Office 365
  • Strong knowledge/experience of troubleshooting networking protocols and technologies such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing and vLANs
  • Good Knowledge of backup and DR services (Azure)
  • Experience in managing switches and routers
  • Good knowledge of Mitel phone systems and SIP trunking
