About the role

Just Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a well-regarded, family-run business on the outskirts of Sudbury - looking to add an Accounts Assistant with payroll experience to its team.

Key duties include:

  • Responsible for weekly and monthly payrolls on Sage and all related duties (holiday forms etc.)
  • Knowledge of Xero accounts
  • Purchase Ledger
  • Sales Ledger
  • Chasing payments
  • Exporting mail-order invoices and credit notes from Magento to Xero
  • Assist the Bookkeeper with any accounts duties
  • Assist Bookkeeper with HR Duties as needed
  • Reconciling Braintree payments to Mail Order invoices
  • Assist with stock-taking and valuation

Knowledge of payroll, Xero and Microsoft Office would be advantageous, although Sage experience would be considered. Attention to detail, good time management skills, accuracy, approachable and reliability are a must.

Free parking is available on-site, offering a competitive hourly rate and an excellent working environment.

Working hours are Monday to Thursday, 7.00am to 5.15pm - 4 days a week (39 hours).

  • Check each job is issued with the correct drawing and instructions.
  • Proficient and experienced in using SolidWorks, must be able to create component parts and generate files for manufacturing.
  • Experienced in Document Control.
  • The role will require a good knowledge and understanding of sheet metal fabrication processing.
  • Will need to demonstrate from experience a high level of clear communication skills with both customers and internal departments effectively.
  • Able to fit into an established manufacturing working environment.
  • Good organisational skills and ability to work under pressure and prioritise and manage your own workload.
  • Some knowledge and experience of CNC Punch and CNC machining programming using Radan software would be an advantage but not a prerequisite as training can be given.

Field Service Engineer

Just Recruitment is working with a growing organisation based on the outskirts of Sudbury - looking to recruit a Field Service Engineer to join its long-standing team.

In this position, you will be the third engineer within the busy Commercial Department that design, build and install specialist equipment throughout the UK and North Sea.

This role requires travelling to all areas of the UK and applicants must hold a passport and clean driving licence. A company van would be provided for work travel and you must expect to be on the road for a minimum of 2-3 days a week, with overnight stays in pre-booked accommodation.

Main job duties include:

  • Installing equipment identified in site surveys, ensuring jobs are completed to a high standard and that the client is trained on how to use the systems correctly
  • Carrying out servicing and calibration of systems, ensuring the equipment is compliant with the client’s needs
  • Identifying faults with the systems, along with repairing/replacing faulty equipment
  • Completing service and calibration reports, which advise both the client and the Commercial Manager of works carried out on-site
  • Assisting with the arranging of site visits with clients and completing paperwork such as RAMS, insurances and competencies required prior to attending the site
  • Ensuring all administrative paperwork i.e. contracts and service documents are inputted into the Office CRM system
  • Assisting the other engineers with research and development into new systems and equipment
  • Taking due care of company vehicle, completing vehicle checks and ensuring servicing requirements or defects are reported to the Fleet Manager
  • Providing internal and external assistance using advanced knowledge of systems
  • Completing office-based tasks such as providing clients with support and identifying any faults from data shown in the specialist software

Offshore work is infrequent but can occur around 5/7 times a year.

Electrical, IT, IOT and basic engineering backgrounds would all be beneficial for this role.
